On Sunday August 22 at 7:30 pm Bedlam Theatre will be presenting Poetry on the Patio, which features a fantastic group of writers in a swell setting. This is a Spout-centric lineup, featuring Spout editor John Colburn, and Spout contributors Sarah Fox and Joanna Fuhrman (one of our featured poets) along with playright Bob Kerr.
Here are the details: Local poets John Colburn and Sarah Fox read their work with Brooklyn poet Joanna Fuhrman, along with songs written and performed by Bob Kerr. John Colburn is the author of the chapbooks Kissing (Fuori Editions) and The Lawrence Welk Diaries (WinteRed Press). Sarah Fox is the author of Because Why (Coffee House Press). Joanna Furhman is the author of four books: Freud in Brooklyn, Ugh Ugh Ocean and Moraine (all Hanging Loose), as well as Pageant (Alice James Books). Bob Kerr is a playwright who sometimes writes songs for his plays, and is a founding member of Bedlam.
See you there!
