Give to the Max Day approaches, and we could really use some financial support this year. We don’t really do fundraisers beyond the literary events we host. This is the only time of year we ask for funding, and we have been busy putting out books that we’d like to get into people’s hands—will you help?
Simply follow the link below to donate. And check out this year’s special offer—for every donation of $50 dollars or more, you will receive a Spout Press stocking cap, just in time for winter’s howl.
This year Spout published the anthology Locker Room Talk: Women in Private Spaces, which features the work of 38 incredible writers including Alison McGhee, Shá Cage, Kao Kalia Yang, Maureen Aitken, Patricia Cumbie, Venus DeMars, Rachel Jendrzejewski, Leslie Adrienne Miller, Jude Nutter, Carlee Tressel, and many others! The cover features the work of artist Leslie Barlow. We are in the planning stages for several new titles in our Out of Pocket series, through which we have already published work by Juliet Patterson, Rachel Jendrzejewski, Brianna Johnson, J. Otis Powell!?, Carolyn Holbrook, and Kazim Ali.
Your donation will go directly to the cost of printing and promoting our new titles. No one at Spout Press gets paid – we are an all-volunteer collective.
With your support, we can continue our part in making literary culture in the Twin Cities. Even a small amount helps. Your money will stay in the community and will enliven it.
Please support us in our current projects, and thank you!
